When a mom walked into Little Sprouts Play Studio with a twinkle in her eye and the sweetest inspiration, we knew this party was going to be special. She wanted something pastel, soft, and full of whimsy — the perfect match for her little one’s love of all things dogs. From that moment, “Let's Pawty” was born.

Designing this party was more than just picking out decorations. It was about creating a playful, cozy atmosphere that celebrated a child’s personality while giving parents a stress-free, beautiful place to host. And trust us, it was just as much fun to design as it was for the kids to enjoy!

From Inspiration to Reality

The first step was capturing mom’s vision. Soft pinks, blues, and yellows made up our pastel palette, setting the stage for a cheerful but gentle vibe. We brainstormed playful dog-themed details and worked them into every corner of the space.

Seeing the lookbook come to life was such a joy, and the kids were immediately drawn to the colorful, puppy-perfect touches.

One of the highlights of this “Ready to Pawty” party was the pastel balloon arch that greeted families as they walked into the party room. For the event, we sourced high-quality balloons in soft shades designed to last for weeks — perfect for a party that needs to look fresh all day long.

The Sweetest Cake Table

The cake table was truly the centerpiece of our “Let's Pawty” setup. We hung our hand-painted banner above it, which instantly drew everyone’s eyes to the celebration spot.

To tie in the pastel, playful theme, we layered pink gingham tablecloths across all the tables — giving everything a cheerful, cohesive feel. For an extra touch, we added this adorable grass runner (so versatile and easy to reuse for future parties!) which made the whole display pop with color and texture.

The result? A cake table that looked just as sweet as the treats on it!

Picture Perfect Walls

To make sure every corner of the party felt complete, we pieced together this balloon pack with some of our other balloons and used glue dots to attach them directly to the wall. It was such a simple trick, but it filled in previously blank space and made the room picture-worthy from every angle.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details — like a pop of color on the walls — that make the biggest impact in photos and memories.

If We’d Added Goodie Bags…

For this particular party, we skipped goodie bags — but if we had included them, we knew exactly how we would have carried the theme through. An “Adopt-a-Dog” station would have been the sweetest send-off!

Each child could have picked their own little plush puppy, chosen a bow for their new pet, and taken home a matching charm bracelet. It would’ve been a fun, memorable way to extend the party magic beyond the studio.
